Engagement Desk is a working system for independent consultants, built as an Obsidian vault: notes,
dashboards, templates and a proposal clause library, as plain markdown files in folders.
You download it once and it runs on your own computer. It has no account, contacts no server, sends
no telemetry, and contains no third-party code. There is no DRM, no licence key, no activation and no phone-home.
Everything you write in it stays on your own disk.
It is sold as a one-off download on Gumroad, which handles the payment as merchant of record. What
is included, what it costs, and the full information you are entitled to before buying are on the
listing.
Built for use with Obsidian. Obsidian and Dataview come from their own publishers under their own
terms; nothing is bundled here, and this product is not affiliated with, endorsed by or supported by
either of them.
How we use email
We run one support mailbox, engagementdesk.support@gmail.com, and two automated things happen there.
An assistant working for us reads what arrives. Replies are composed by an automated assistant
working for us. A small application called scout-support-mail then sends them, and sends the written
acknowledgement Belgian law requires when a buyer withdraws from a purchase. That application's only
permission on the mailbox is to send: it cannot read, search or delete mail, in our mailbox or in
anyone else's.
Neither of those has anything to do with the product you download, which is offline files on your
own computer.
Support is product support only — defects, rendering, and how a feature is meant to work. What it
does and does not cover is set out in full on the listing and inside the vault. Complaints go to the
same address.
